The British Columbia Carpenters Union has been in existence since 1889. Our organization represents carpenters, drywallers, floorlayers, and school board employees throughout the province.

Our affiliates include the Canadian Labour Congress, BC Federation of Labour, Construction, Maintenance and Allied Workers Council, and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union.

Local 1995 is the largest carpenter's local in the province and boasts approximately 2,500 members. We believe training and apprenticeship are the cornerstones to constructing the future of the province.
